These and other sharing economy companies have introduced a unique transaction model that has completely transformed industries like transportation and hospitality. This model empowers individuals to earn money from their own assets or skills, such as their home, car, or ability to teach Spanish.
As part of their ongoing commitment to keep riders safe, Uber announced yesterday a comprehensive list of safety enhancements they are making to their platform. Among the seven enhancements, this plan will include a Code of Conduct for all riders and drivers, a Safety Advisory Board, and Background Checks.
